Anthony Vega is native to the Inland Empire and has been married to his wife, Annabell for 33 years. Together, they have two adult children and one grandson.  

Anthony is a 29-year veteran of law enforcement and serves as the chief of police for the Colton Police Department.  

He has an unwavering faith in God and is committed to his family and a life of service.  Anthony honorably served his country as a United States Navy

Reservist for eight years.  He is proud to have served in our great nation’s military. 

He takes pride in being selected by the Navy to serve as part of a joint military task force responsible for ensuring the safety of those attending President Barack Obama’s 57th Inauguration in 2013. 

Anthony takes his role as a father and grandfather seriously and focuses on maintaining a balance between the demands of his professional journey and family priorities.  He

acknowledges the toll that a life of service can place on a family but remains steadfast in his belief that family comes first.  

Chief Vega is committed to enhancing the lives of others through mentorship and is unafraid to share difficult lessons learned for the betterment of others.

Pastor James Flowers has been an ordained elder for over 45 years, known for teaching God’s Word with clarity and compassion. He and his wife Kathy, married for 54 years. They shared the privilege of parenting three children—Kenneth, Darron, and April—who preceded them in death. 

Pastor James has embraced his calling as a father figure to many, mentoring young men through his “Breakfast of Champions” program.

He and his wife founded Marriage God Style Ministries, Center of Christ Ministries, and the Inland Empire Family Life Institute. Pastor James also teaches relationship classes through Healthy Relationships California.

A gifted musician known as “Doc,” Pastor James formed the gospel group “God’s Song” and has released several instrumental worship CDs. 

Pastor James' heart for ministry, relationships, and worship defines a life of steadfast service and love for others.
